Brenda Lamon Corey

Brenda Lamon Corey is an experienced finance and human resources professional with a career spanning over two decades, primarily at Bel Air Church since December 2003. Currently serving as the Finance & HR Special Projects lead, Brenda has successfully managed the transition of outsourced accounting to an internal team and overseen accounting system migrations while ensuring efficient payroll and employee benefits administration. Previous roles include Human Resources Director, where Brenda directed HR functions, implemented a transition to Paylocity HRIS, enhanced employee engagement, and supported significant organizational changes, resulting in improved retention rates. Earlier experience includes finance and payroll management, as well as various roles at Rollins College, where Brenda managed box office operations and coordinated international student services. Educational qualifications consist of a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Central Florida, a certificate in Accounting from UCLA Extension, and a two-year certificate in Spiritual Direction from CFDM.
