Najib Aheztan

Najib Aheztan is an experienced tax professional currently serving as Team Leader for Large Enterprises at Belastingdienst since February 2025. Prior to this role, Najib held the position of Tax Director at Bacardi from January 2020 to February 2025, where leadership of the tax function for EMEA and APAC regions was a key responsibility. Najib also served as Direct Tax Lead for EMEA at SABIC from January 2016 to December 2019, overseeing the direct tax function. The career began at EY, where Najib worked from 2004 to 2016, progressing to Senior Manager Tax with a focus on International Tax Services and leading the Global Tax Desk in New York for financial services. Najib's educational background includes studies at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
