Opi Gahunia

Opi Gahunia has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. They began their career at Magna International as a Cost Analyst, where they performed cost analysis and maintained detailed financial analysis. They then worked at Collins & Aikman as a Senior Plant Accountant, managing the preparation of financial data for plant operations. Opi then joined ATS Automation Tooling Systems as a Group Financial Analyst, providing financial information to the Group Controller. At Husky Injection Molding Systems, they served as a Senior Financial Analyst, providing analytical support to operations and managing a team of analysts. Opi later joined Belden Inc. as a Plant Controller, providing financial leadership and overseeing the month-end close process. They then moved on to Grass Valley, a Belden Brand, as a Global Controller, where they directed the preparation of financial statements and managed accounting and internal controls. Currently, Opi holds the position of Director, Global Indirect Procurement at Belden Inc., where they develop and execute commodity strategies and lead cross-functional teams in sourcing and supplier management.

Opi Gahunia completed an Honors BCOMM in Business at the University of Windsor in 1996-2000. Additionally, from 2007-2010, they attended CMA to earn a CPA degree in the field of study of CMA.
