Vera Ding

Vera Ding is an experienced arts administrator with a robust background in management and development within the theatrical sector. Currently serving as the General Manager at Belgrade Theatre since September 2017, Vera previously held the position of Art for Life Coordinator at The Albany Theatre Trust and General Manager at BEMAC, where expertise was demonstrated in managing the Queensland Multicultural Centre and fostering CALD and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists. As Director of Art Form Development at Arts Queensland, Vera played a pivotal role in implementing investment programs, particularly noted for developing the Arts Business Innovation Fund in 2014. Earlier in the career, Vera also served as CEO of Kooemba Jdarra Aboriginal Performing Arts. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in Arts Administration from Deakin University and a Bachelor's degree in Drama from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
