Gidi Halaf

Gidi Halaf has extensive work experience in the fields of chemical engineering, process engineering, and research and development. Gidi has held various roles in different companies, including Future Meat Technologies as the Head of Media Rejuvenation and HP Indigo as a Research and Development Engineer. Gidi has also worked as a Chemical Process Engineer and Project Manager as a freelancer, as well as co-founding and serving as the COO of SensoGenic. Gidi has experience in optimizing processes, developing new technologies, and managing operations. Some of the companies they have worked for include CollPlant, TAPAZOL Chemical Works Ltd., Israeli Biotechnology Research, and Teva. Gidi's expertise ranges from process improvement and machinery validation to tech transfer and scale-up of production processes.

Gidi Halaf completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Biotechnology from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 1999 to 2003. Gidi then pursued a Master's degree in Biochemistry & food science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem between 2004 and 2006.
