Uroš Simčič

Uro L. is an experienced Research Data Engineer at Citadel Securities, specializing in Alt Data Alpha since July 2022. Prior to this role, Uro served as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Maryland, contributing to a project on revenue-maximizing auctions published in AISTATS 2022. Uro co-led the Smith Investment Fund as Co-President, focusing on systematic strategy research. Previous software engineering internships at Facebook included work in assistant question answering and civic integrity. Uro also gained experience as a Quantitative Research Intern at Millennium Management LLC, focusing on VIX and options strategy research. Uro holds a degree from the University of Maryland and attended Montgomery Blair High School, specializing in math, science, and computer science.
