Rodrigo Azambuja has a diverse range of work experience, starting as a Sales and Marketing Intern at Ambev in 2010. Rodrigo rapidly progressed through various roles in Ambev, such as Sales Supervisor and Regional Sales Manager, achieving significant sales growth and earning recognition for their performance. Azambuja was later promoted to National Innovation Manager, where they successfully launched multiple new products and achieved impressive volume increases.
In 2016, Azambuja joined ZX Ventures, a Venture-Capital group of ABI. Rodrigo founded and served as CEO of WHYM, a disruptive home-brewing product, overseeing all aspects of its development and execution. Azambuja also held roles as Global Manager, RTM, and Director, US Cell, leading strategic initiatives for craft brands and import business for ABI.
In 2019, Azambuja joined AB InBev, where they served as Senior Director & GM, Hiball, transforming and repositioning the brand through data analytics and strategic planning. Rodrigo later assumed the role of Senior Director Innovation & Special Projects - Beyond Beer, responsible for innovation and portfolio strategy.
Currently, Azambuja works as the President, US at Beliv Company, overseeing the overall business, strategic direction, and vision for their most important market. Rodrigo ensures performance, sustainable growth, and resource allocation for the company.
Rodrigo Azambuja has a diverse education history. Rodrigo holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from Harvard University, which they completed from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Manufacturing Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, graduating in 2012. In 2009, Rodrigo also pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Manufacturing Engineering from UNSW. Additionally, they completed various certifications in areas such as English language proficiency, advanced Excel, advanced finance, business, and presentation techniques.
