Aydin Aksoy, CSCP, has extensive experience in supply chain management and demand planning. Aydin began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at General Electric, where they led business process re-engineering projects and was involved in design automation initiatives. Aydin then worked at various companies, including Crown Crafts, Inc. and Murad, as a Forecast Analyst, where they implemented initiatives to improve forecast accuracy and developed long-range forecasts. Aydin also worked as a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, where they facilitated the implementation and support of SAP materials management and sales and distribution modules. In their most recent role as a Supply & Demand Planning Manager at Belkin, Aydin was responsible for forecasting for commercial accounts with annual revenue of over $160MM, achieving a 40% reduction in forecast error variance. Aydin also managed a supply planning team to support a large number of SKUs and a significant amount of business. With their expertise in demand planning and forecasting, Aydin has consistently contributed to improving inventory performance, production planning, and customer service.

Aydin Aksoy, CSCP, holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, which they earned from the University of Pittsburgh from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University, attending from 1987 to 1991. In addition to their education, Aksoy obtained the CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification from APICS in April 2015.
