Dean Friesen

Dean Friesen brings extensive experience in commercial banking, having served as the Senior Vice President and Commercial Banking Team Lead at Bell Bank from September 2022 to May 2024. Prior to this role, Dean held the position of Market President for the West Metro at Alerus from January 2016 to September 2022, where Dean also acted as Team Lead and Relationship Manager. Dean's career began at Beacon Bank, where Dean served as Chief Operating Officer and Director from January 1990 to January 2016. Dean holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Hamline University and furthered education at the Graduate School of Bank Investments between January 2010 and January 2011.
