Matt Kowal

Matt Kowal, MBA, currently serves as the SVP/Commercial Banking Team Lead at Oregon Pacific Bank since July 2022. Previous experience includes roles at Banner Bank from 2014 to July 2022, where responsibilities expanded from Business Client Manager to SVP/Retail Division Manager and Vice President/Branch Manager, overseeing branch operations and employee development. Prior positions at AmericanWest Bank from 2005 to 2014 and Washington Trust Bank from 1998 to 2005 included roles such as Senior Personal Banker and Financial Analyst. Matt Kowal holds multiple degrees, including an MBA from the University of Phoenix and graduate education from the Pacific Coast Banking School, complemented by a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, and Marketing from Eastern Washington University.
