Jorge Pena

Jorge Pena has a diverse work experience in the fields of planning, material control, warehouse management, and scheduling. JORGE started their career at Midway Games in 1998 as a Master Scheduler, overseeing scheduling for the warranty department and managing a team. JORGE then joined FONA International in 2000, where they held various roles including Production Scheduler, Senior Scheduler, and Material Control Supervisor. In these positions, they were responsible for establishing and managing production schedules, implementing best practices within the warehouse, and leading continuous improvement projects. From 2013 to 2015, Jorge worked as the Material Control / Warehouse Manager at FONA International, where they were a part of the management team and responsible for performance management and improvement of material control, warehouse, and logistics operations. Currently, they are the Planning Manager at Bell Flavors & Fragrances since 2015, managing flavor production planning activities, inventory control, and ensuring accuracy of WMS and ERP systems. Overall, Jorge Pena has a strong background in operations management and brings valuable expertise in planning and warehouse management.

Jorge Pena has a strong educational background, primarily in business administration and operations management. JORGE obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from DeVry University between 1995 and 1998. JORGE later pursued further education at the University of Illinois Chicago, where they obtained a Certificate on Business Administration in 2004. Continuing their education in lean operations, Jorge received a certification in Lean Operation Principles Tools and Practices from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Jorge has also obtained various certifications. In 1999, they became Certified in Production and Inventory Control Management through APICS, The American Production and Inventory Control Society. In 2003, they obtained a Certificate of Business Administration from the University of Illinois Chicago. Lastly, in 2016, they obtained a certification from the Illinois Youth Soccer Association - USSF in Illinois Youth Soccer.
