Church Mickel MS has a wide range of work experience spanning several industries. Church began their career with the US Army as a Specialist E4 from November 1989 to November 1992. Following this, they worked as a Part-Time Mathematics Instructor at Texas Tech University from August 1998 to May 2000.

In 2000, Church joined Trilogy Software as a Data Analyst/Modeler for a brief period from May 2000 to August 2000. Church then moved to Lockheed Martin, where they worked as a Programmer/Analyst from August 2000 to May 2002. During their time at Lockheed Martin, Church programmed logistic/reliability models using VB 6.0, VBA, and Microsoft Excel. Church also automated manual data entry and manipulation processes, significantly reducing completion time.

In 2004, Church joined Bell Helicopter as an Industrial Engineering Specialist. Church was responsible for maintaining weekly EVMS Manufacturing Reports, EVMS Charts, Past Due Manufacturing Hours, monthly EAC reports, and departmental overhead charts and graphs for the V-22 program. Church also has experience in database maintenance and administration. Church later took on the role of Senior Staff Industrial Engineer at Bell Helicopter from August 2007 to June 2010, where they developed and maintained various reports, oversaw database administration, and analyzed data from multiple sources.

Church's last role at Bell Helicopter was as Principal Business Solutions Architect, which they held from June 2010 onwards. In this position, they were in charge of creating the company subledger, quarterly finance EACs, BCS reporting, and monthly EACs for both commercial and military programs. Church also developed ad hoc tool development for end-user finance tools and data. Additionally, they created web-based and desktop reporting tools/apps for detailed monthly reporting and analytical purposes.

Church Mickel MS obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics/Chemistry from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX from 1993 to 1998. Afterwards, they pursued a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics at the same university from 1998 to 2000.
