Dan MacDonald

Dan MacDonald has extensive experience in broadcasting and media, currently serving as the host of The Dan MacDonald Show on AM 800 CKLW since October 2005. In addition, Dan hosts and produces the Hear + Now program on AM800/939 The River, showcasing local emerging artists. Previous roles include on-air personality for 939 The River CIDR-FM and senior copywriter for multiple radio stations. Dan’s academic contributions include teaching new media convergence, radio writing, production, and managing internships at St. Clair College from 2015 to 2017. Prior to these roles, Dan was an on-air host for CJAM 91.5FM and served as arts editor and feature writer for UPFRONT Magazine and ROOM Magazine, respectively. Dan holds a diploma in Journalism: Print + New Media from St. Clair College.
