Lachlan Edwards

Lachlan Edwards is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance and governance. As the founder of Faraday Associates since July 2018, Edwards has played significant roles in various organizations, including Deputy Chair and Non-Executive Director at Bell Shakespeare since October 2016, and Non-Executive Director at Hotel Property Investments since December 2013. Edwards has served on the Board of Trustees for Art Gallery NSW since January 2022 and previously held a similar position at Sydney Living Museums until December 2022. Additionally, Edwards was involved with the Turnaround Management Association from January 2016 to June 2021 as both Australian Chair and President. Edwards has significant past experience at Lazard as Co-CEO and Managing Director (October 2013 - June 2018) and at Goldman Sachs, where responsibilities included establishing restructuring advisory capabilities in both Europe and Australia. Edwards holds a Bachelor of Economics, Accounting and Taxation Law from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from FINSIA, alongside academic contributions as a Guest Lecturer at the University of Oxford.
