Abhishek Bhat

Abhishek Bhat has a wealth of experience in the aerospace industry. Abhishek began their career in 2011 as a Senior Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Science, where they worked on setting up an experimental facility for continuous pulsed detonation engines. In 2013, they moved to TU Delft as a Post Doc, where they worked on the AHEAD project to model emissions from dual combustors. In 2015, they joined Honeywell Aerospace as a Technology Specialist. Most recently, in 2019, they were appointed Head of Computational Sciences Division at Bellatrix Aerospace.

Abhishek Bhat completed their high school education at MGM, Bhilai in 1999, where they studied Physics, Biology and Mathematics. Abhishek then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from DMCOE, Mumbai University between 1999 and 2003. Following this, they obtained a Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Indian Institute of Science (IISc) between 2003 and 2005. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Aerospace, Combustion and Propulsion from IISc in 2013.
