Matthew Benson has had a diverse work experience. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Line Cook at Crescent Foods Catering and a Stagehand at Backstage LLC. In 2015, they also co-founded a band called Camp Howard. From 2017 to present, they have been working at Belle Isle Moonshine, first as a Production Technician, then as Assistant Head of Production, and currently as Distillery Store Operations Manager. In their current role, they oversee the fulfillment of Distillery Store orders, manages the scheduling of delivery drivers/courier service and daily route creation, and oversaw the installation and implementation of a custom built automated bottling line.
Matthew Benson attended James River High School from 2009 to 2013. Matthew then attended Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) from 2013 to 2015, where they obtained an Audio Production degree. Matthew then attended Virginia Commonwealth University from 2015 to 2017, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Music.
