Charity Scripture

Charity Scripture MS, PharmD, BCOP has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Starting in 1992, Charity began as an intern at Mylan Bertek Pharmaceuticals. From 2002 to 2004, Charity worked as an Oncology Pharmacist at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. In 2004, Charity joined the National Cancer Institute as a Clinical Drug Development Fellow in the Clinical Pharmacology Research Core. In 2006, Charity transitioned to the pharmaceutical industry and worked at Amgen, specializing in oncology. Charity held roles as the International Oncology Scientific Affairs Heme/Onc TA Lead, Global Oncology Scientific Affairs Senior Manager, and worked in Early Development - Oncology Phase 1 Research. In 2015, Charity joined Pharmacyclics, an AbbVie Company, as an Associate Director Clinical Science. Charity later became a Scientific Director in Oncology Clinical Development at AbbVie Stemcentrx an AbbVie Company from 2016 to 2018. Charity then held the position of Senior Director Oncology Clinical Development at AbbVie from March to October 2018. In 2018, Charity joined Bellicum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as the Sr Dir US and Global Medical Affairs, and later served as the VP Clinical Development and Medical Affairs from 2019 to 2021. Charity currently holds the role of Chief Development Officer (CDO) at Bellicum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. In 2020, Charity also held the position of VP Business and Development Operations at ACELYRIN, INC.

Charity Scripture MS, PharmD, BCOP completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology at Hamilton College. Charity then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Continuing their educational journey, they obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
