Kiara Konishi

Office Coordinator at Bellwether Coffee

Kiara Konishi has a diverse range of work experiences. In 2016, they served as a ONE TAM Intern at the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy. The following year, in 2017, they worked as a Plant Nursery Assistant at the same organization. Kiara also worked as a University of Hawai'i Children's Center Assistant at the University of Hawaii at Manoa during the same year. In 2019, Kiara held two roles, including a Legislative Aide at the Hawai'i State Senate Majority and a Northshore Ethnographic Field School participant at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Kiara also interned as a Sogi Fellowship Intern at the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center for a few months. In 2020, Kiara worked as a Phone Organizer for Peace Action, where they fundraised and participated in a conference in Japan. From 2022 to 2023, they served as a Farm Educator at Tennyson High School, where they facilitated lessons, managed the farm, and assisted in teaching classes. Currently, they hold the position of Office Coordinator at Bellwether Coffee, starting in 2023.

Kiara Konishi completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Ethnic Studies at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from 2017 to 2021. In May 2021, they obtained a certification in the Beef Quality Assurance Transportation Program Farmer and Rancher (BQAT) from the Beef Quality Assurance institution.
