Mike Meyer

As Chief Credit Officer and Executive Vice President for Bellwether Enterprise Real Estate Capital’s lending platform, Mike manages the company’s underwriting of all FHA, USDA, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae market rate and affordable transactions. He is responsible for the underwriting, processing and closing from Bellwether’s Columbus, Ohio office.

Prior to joining the company in January 2014, Mike served Red Mortgage Capital, LLC for 10 years, starting in the Management Trainee Program and excelling into Fannie Mae DUS underwriting. Mike directly underwrote Fannie Mae single and portfolio asset multifamily, student, affordable, and seniors housing transactions in excess of $850 million in addition to lead underwriting several large pooled transactions. As Managing Director at Red Mortgage, Mike provided direct oversight for seven production analysts located in four offices throughout the U.S. He managed a team responsible for screening and quoting all Agency and FHA debt products.

Mike is a graduate of Ohio State University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with an Economics Minor. Additionally, Mike holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Capital University.
