Bellwether
Jennifer Schiess serves as a Senior Partner and Policy and Evaluation Practice Leader at Bellwether Education Partners since August 2014, having progressed through various roles including Partner, Senior Associate Partner, and Associate Partner. Prior to this, Jennifer managed the Public Education Team at the Texas Legislative Budget Board from 2004 to 2014, where responsibilities included overseeing budget processes and providing policy advice on public education issues. Earlier experience includes working as a Senior Information Officer at Vanderbilt University and teaching English at Antioch Comprehensive High School. Jennifer holds a Master of Public Policy from Duke University, a Master of Education in Secondary Education from Vanderbilt University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Duke University.

We work hand in hand with education leaders and organizations to accelerate their impact, inform and influence policy and program design, and share what we learn along the way. We envision a future where all young people have access to an equitable and excellent education and live lives filled with opportunity. We look to a future where the education system is effective, equitable, and responsive.
