Savannah Garber

Savannah Garber has a diverse work experience beginning in 2015 as a Corps Member for Jumpstart. From 2016 to 2018, they held multiple positions at the University of Pittsburgh, including Program Coordinator and Resident Assistant, for which they were awarded Staff Member of the Year. In 2018, they became a House Manager at William Pitt Union, where they managed daily organization tasks, goals, and projects, as well as trained and managed a staff of 5+ student workers. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as a 5th Grade Teacher at North Penn School District, where they increased 80% of students' performance and stakeholder satisfaction to 90%, and was recognized as a top performer. Currently, they are a Communications Project Manager at BellXcel.

Savannah Garber has a Master of Education (MEd) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Education, which they obtained in 2019. Her field of study was Instruction and Learning. Savannah also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Education, which they obtained in 2018. Her field of study was Applied Developmental Psychology. In addition, they have obtained three certifications: Project Management: Professional Certification from Google in 2022, Foundations of Project Management from Google in 2022, and Google Educator Level 1 from Google in 2019.
