Justin Bates

Justin Bates has a diverse work experience mainly in the field of athletics. Justin started as an Assistant Director/Intern at Gaston Day School in 2011 before becoming an Assistant Athletic Director at the same school in 2012. In 2013, they joined Camp Cayuga as an Assistant Camp Director. In 2015, Justin joined Belmont Abbey College as an Assistant Director of Athletics for Internal Operations before eventually becoming the Associate Director of Athletics for External Operations. Justin'sresponsibilities included overseeing marketing, partnerships, sponsorships, donations, and public relations for the Department of Athletics. Additionally, they also had experience as a Sports Information Intern and as a Team Manager/Student Coach at Belmont Abbey College.

Justin Bates obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Management from Belmont Abbey College from 2010 to 2012. Justin then pursued a Master of Science in Management degree with a focus on Sports Management at Wilmington University from 2020 to 2021. In addition to their formal education, Justin also obtained certifications in Adult First Aid/CPR from the American Red Cross in June 2023, as well as certifications in Revit 2019 and AutoCAD 2019 from Central Piedmont Community College in 2018.
