Cate McLeane

Cate McLeane currently serves as the Managing Director of Belmont Innovation Labs and also holds the position of Director of External Partnerships and Strategic Communications at the same institution since February 2023. In addition, Cate is the Founder and Principal of Wellspire Strategies, a role that involves collaborating with visionary leaders and organizations to enhance business strategies and communication. Previous experience includes positions such as Director of Strategic Development and Interim Executive Director at Duke University's Ormond Center and Adjunct Instructor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Cate's earlier roles include Chief Operating Officer and Senior Account Executive at Angel Oak Creative, and Associate Director for leadership development initiatives at the Traditioned Innovation Project. Cate holds a B.A. in Religious Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and pursued further education at Duke Divinity School and in Integrative Health Coaching.
