Jimmy Davis

Jimmy Davis, Ph.D., is a seasoned academic professional with over 30 years of experience at Belmont University, where Jimmy serves as a Professor of Communication Studies, focusing on talent development for young adults transitioning to the workforce. His extensive administrative leadership includes a 15-year tenure as Dean of the University College and a term as Associate Provost for Academic Affairs from 2009 to 2013. In addition to academic roles, Jimmy Davis contributed to the Penuel Ridge Spiritual Retreat Center as Treasurer and Board Member from January 2014 to April 2020. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. and M.A. in Speech Communication from Indiana University Bloomington and a BA in Speech Communication from The University of Southern Mississippi.
