Candice Thomas-Maddox

Candice Thomas-Maddox is a Professor of Communication Studies at Ohio University-Lancaster, a position held since 1994, having also served as an Assistant Professor. Candice has exhibited leadership in the field of communication, with roles including President of the Eastern Communication Association from April 2009 to April 2010 and President of the Ohio Communication Association from October 2006 to September 2008. Additionally, Candice was the Executive Director for both the Eastern Communication Association from April 1999 to April 2004 and the Ohio Communication Association from October 1999 to September 2003. Candice earned an Ed.D. in Communication in Instruction from West Virginia University between 1991 and 1994.
