Fidel E. Benton

Fidel Benton is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in marketing and public relations across various organizations. Currently serving as the Communications Officer at Beloved Community Center since June 2023, Fidel focuses on enhancing awareness of the organization’s mission through targeted communications and community engagement initiatives. As the Founder and Principal of DCO Branding since 2015, Fidel provides creative media and marketing solutions to a diverse clientele. Previous roles include Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, where a creative team successfully implemented innovative marketing strategies, and Director of Marketing & Communications at Robeson Community College, achieving notable increases in digital engagement. Fidel's early career included positions such as Marketing Manager at Raleigh Little Theatre and various roles at Fayetteville State University, culminating in a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the same institution in 2014.
