Ruthie Reid, OTD, OTR/L, CSRS, is an accomplished occupational therapist and content strategist with extensive experience in both clinical and developmental roles. Currently serving as the founder and developer of Ovarian Cancer Thrivers since February 2023, Ruthie has also been a registered occupational therapist with HCA Healthcare and Belton Regional Medical Center since December 2017 and November 2017, respectively. Additional clinical roles have included positions at Lee's Summit Medical Center and Marian Hope Center for Children's Therapy. Ruthie completed multiple clinical experiences during occupational therapy education, including acute and outpatient care. Ruthie holds a Doctor of Occupational Therapy with High Honors from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and a Master of Occupational Therapy from Rockhurst University, in addition to a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science from the same institution.
