Belvedere Trading is seeking an Equities Quantitative Trader to join its Cash Equities team in New York. The successful candidate will start working on and manage existing systematic strategies in the US Cash Equities market and will eventually research, design and manage new strategies. They will have a broad mandate to build both Latency and Non-Latency sensitive strategies. They will work closely with the Senior trader and other team members and have a direct impact on trading and PNL generation.

  • Per New York rules a base of $125,000 to $225,000 with benefits and bonus dependent on experience level.

What you'll need

  • 2+ years of trading experience in US Equities
  • Series SIE + 57 Required
  • Strong quantitative skills, including high mathematical aptitude, experience with excel, data analytics
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, creative problem-solving skills, and ability to implement iterative improvements to trading systems
  • Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently in a professional and collaborative setting

Extra credit

  • Strong programming skills, C#, Python/Matlab/R
  • Experience with Data mining/Statistics/Optimization in research topics
  • Experience in a profitable algorithmic trading group
