Albert Kim (A.J.)

A.J. Kim has extensive work experience in the legal industry. Albert (A.J.) is currently the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Belvedere Trading, LLC since July 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Deputy Chief Regulatory Officer at Interactive Brokers from April 2019 to July 2023. Before that, they held various roles at NYSE, including Counsel (NYSE), Chief Compliance Officer (CHXBD), Vice President and Associate General Counsel (NYSE Chicago), Deputy Chief Compliance Officer (CHXBD), and Corporate Counsel (NYSE Chicago) between July 2012 and March 2019. A.J. Kim began their career as an Assistant State's Attorney at the Cook County State's Attorney's Office from April 2006 to July 2012.

Albert (A.J.) Kim pursued their education in a step-by-step manner, with a focus on business, law, and finance. Albert (A.J.) attained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with an unspecified field of study from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 1998 and 2002. Later, they attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law from 2002 to 2005 and earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree to develop their expertise in law. Albert furthered their studies at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2016 to 2019, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Finance and Economics.
