Pranav Kannan

Pranav Kannan is an accomplished mixologist currently employed at Benares Restaurant and Bar, a Michelin star establishment in Mayfair, London, since February 2024. Prior to this role, Pranav served as a Junior Operations Manager at MGM Muthu Hotels from October 2022 to August 2023 and worked as a Guest Service Associate at ITC Royal Bengal, contributing to the opening of the Grand Market Pavilion and the Darjeeling Lounge between June 2019 and January 2021. Pranav's experience also includes an internship at The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts in 2017, where comprehensive training across core hotel departments was obtained. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in International Hospitality, Events, and Tourism Management from Oxford Brookes University (2021-2023), a Bachelor's degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University (2016-2019), and a Bachelor's degree in Restaurant, Culinary, and Catering Management from the Institute of Hotel Management (2016-2019).
