Sameer Taneja is an accomplished culinary professional with extensive experience in high-end dining establishments. Currently serving as Executive Chef at Benares Restaurant and Bar since September 2019 and as a Chef Consultant for GOURMAND HOSPITALITY LTD since April 2018, Sameer has previously led kitchen operations at Talli Joe Restaurant and was instrumental in maintaining a Michelin Star during a four-year tenure at Benares Restaurant & Bar from 2012 to 2015. Early career roles include positions as Sous Chef at Koffmanns, The Berkeley Hotel, and Brasserie Joel, as well as Chef Saucier at The Waterside Inn. Sameer's culinary journey began as Kitchen Commis at The Oberoi Rajvilas. Sameer holds a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management from Mangalore University and has attended New Delhi Public School and Oxford Senior Secondary School.
