Dennis Pavlina has a diverse work experience in marketing and growth roles. Dennis started their career as a Marketing Co-Op Student at RevenueWire in 2013 and then transitioned to a Marketing Coordinator role where they managed email campaigns, landing pages, and events while also gaining knowledge in conversion optimization. At WiderFunnel, Dennis worked as an Optimization Coordinator before becoming an Optimization Strategist, where they helped organizations uncover growth potential by creating conversion optimization strategies.
In 2018, Dennis joined Bench Accounting as a Web Growth & Marketing Strategist, where they were responsible for the strategy, execution, and results of the Bench.co website. Dennis then progressed to Marketing Manager, Senior Manager of Inbound Marketing, and Senior Manager of Growth. In their most recent role as Director of Growth - Revenue Expansion & Retention, Dennis identified barriers to product engagement and developed solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams to increase revenue and reduce churn.
Throughout their career, Dennis has demonstrated strong expertise in web growth, conversion rate optimization, and go-to-market strategies. Dennis has also shown proficiency in using various tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce, WordPress, and Optimizely.
Dennis Pavlina completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business at the University of Victoria from 2010 to 2014. In 2014, they also pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree at Johannes Kepler Universität Linz. Additionally, they obtained certifications in the Optimizely Platform, Google Analytics Individual Qualification (IQ), and Landing Page Optimization from Optimizely, Google, and MECLABS respectively between 2015 and 2016.
