Michael Chi

Michael Chi has extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as an Implementation Manager at Benchling since May 2021. Previous roles include Senior Quality Control Analyst at bluebird bio, where responsibilities involved managing external contract organizations and authoring test method validation protocols. Prior to that, Michael worked at Charles River Laboratories as a Scientist I and Senior Analyst in Mass Spectrometry, and at Blue Stream Laboratories as a Senior Analyst and Quality Assurance Specialist, focusing on bioanalytical methods and compliance with cGMP regulations. Michael began their career as a Research Assistant at Brandeis University, where research on Drosophila melanogaster garnered publication. Michael holds a Master's degree in Biotechnology and is pursuing an MBA at Georgetown University, having completed a Bachelor's degree in Biology with highest honors at Brandeis University.
