Joe Mirabella

Joe Mirabella currently serves as General Counsel at Benchmark Mortgage since February 2014, overseeing legal and compliance functions, including litigation management, contract review, regulatory compliance, and loan compliance. Prior to this role, Joe served as Principal Attorney at the Law of Joseph D. Mirabella from August 1997 to February 2014, specializing in general and commercial litigation, family law, and real estate. Joe's earlier experience includes positions as Assistant Town Attorney for the Town of Brookhaven and Assistant Attorney General for the State of New York, where federal civil rights litigation was a primary focus. Joe began a legal career as a Litigation Associate at Gentile & Ciampoli. Joe holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from Harvard University.
