Morten Hamre

Morten Hamre is an experienced professional in the maritime and operations management sectors, currently serving as Regional Operations Manager at Benchmark Holdings plc since February 2021, where responsibilities include managing the commercial operations of chartered vessels for the CleanTreat® solution. Previously, Morten held various roles at GAC Norway from March 2013 to January 2021, including Commercial Manager and Manager Offshore & Tank, where comprehensive management of commercial activities and oversight of significant client relationships were key functions. Morten has also worked as an Operations Manager, overseeing substantial port call logistics, and has experience in crew management and safety operations from positions at Carnival Cruise Line and the Royal Norwegian Navy. Morten's educational background includes studies at Merkantil Fagskole and the Royal Norwegian Officer School, complemented by a diploma in Aquaculture/Fish industry from HALLVARD LEROY AS.
