Keira Pereira

Keira Pereira, PhD, is a UX Researcher at BenchSci since March 2022, bringing a robust background in educational project management and biological research. Prior to joining BenchSci, Keira held multiple roles at Top Hat, including Senior Educational Project Manager and Biology Content Specialist, from September 2018 to March 2022. Keira's postdoctoral research at the University Health Network focused on renal cell carcinoma, specifically identifying long-lived tumor cells with stem cell-like properties. Keira earned a PhD from the University of Toronto, where the graduate research centered on the tumor microenvironment in head and neck cancer. Keira holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Waterloo.
