Ramtin Rassoli

Ramtin Rassoli is an experienced engineering manager and software engineer specializing in machine learning and MLOps, currently serving as Engineering Manager for the ML and Search Platform at BenchSci since January 2021. Ramtin's expertise includes coordinating stakeholder engagements, migrating infrastructures to Terraform, and advancing machine learning inference stacks to Vertex AI. Previous roles at BenchSci included contributions as a tech lead and senior software engineer, where Ramtin established MLOps practices and streamlined NLP model training workflows. Prior to BenchSci, Ramtin was a senior data scientist at ecobee, focusing on building experimental infrastructure and deploying scalable ML models utilizing Google Cloud technologies. Ramtin holds a Master of Science in Applied Computing from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
