Theresa Etherington

Theresa Etherington (Parkes) is an experienced senior HR and people partner with a robust background in organizational transformation and strategic HR leadership. Currently serving as a Senior People Partner at Bendigo Bank since September 2025, Theresa has held similar roles at David Jones and Planet Innovation, where the focus included capability lifting and embedding development initiatives. Previous positions include Director of People and Culture at the Australian Institute for Teaching & School Leadership, where Theresa transformed the HR team into a strategic function, and Senior People and Culture Strategy Partner at AGL Energy, engaging in business transformation projects. Theresa's career began in various HR roles at NAB and has included extensive experience in business partnering, leading people initiatives, and driving organizational change across multiple industries. Education includes a degree in HR/IR from Western Sydney University.
