Ryan Brosnahan has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Ryan currently holds the position of Chief Transformation Officer at Bendigo Bank since November 2019. In addition to this, they have also been appointed as a Non-Executive Director at Australian Payments Plus starting from February 2023.

Prior to their current roles, Ryan worked at ANZ for a significant period of time, starting from 2005. During their time at ANZ, they held various positions of increasing responsibility, including General Manager Services - New Zealand, Head of Projects and Investments ANZ Group, General Manager Transformation Projects - ANZ Group, Head of Group Payments Management, Head of Transaction Banking New Zealand, and Head of Strategy, Operations and Risk, Institutional. As the Head of Strategy, Operations and Risk, Institutional, they were responsible for developing and executing strategy, optimizing operations and infrastructure, and implementing a transformation program to improve efficiency and customer service.

Before joining ANZ, Ryan worked at Santander UK, where they served as the Chief Operating Officer - Portfolio Business Unit, Finance Director - Cater Allen International Limited, and Head of Finance. In these roles, they oversaw various aspects of the business, including risk, finance, operations, technology, and strategy. Ryan also played a key role in the development and delivery of the company's strategic plan.

Ryan's early career includes a role as a Commercial Manager at CSC, where they gained valuable experience in managing commercial operations.

Ryan Brosnahan has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Otago, which they obtained from 1990 to 1993. Ryan later pursued a Masters of Science in Finance at the London Business School from 2002 to 2004. In 2012, they completed a Leadership in Large Organizations program at Duke University's Executive Education. In 2015, Ryan attended the University of Sydney's Executive Leadership of Major Projects Program. Furthermore, they completed a Digital Business Transformation program at MIT Sloan School of Management in 2017.
