Tommy Wenk is an Investment Associate at Benefit Street Partners since May 2022, specializing in private credit underwriting. Prior to this, Tommy worked at Piper Sandler as an Investment Banking Associate from 2019 to 2022, focusing on specialty finance mergers and acquisitions. Tommy's earlier experience includes a role in equity research at JMP Securities LLC from 2017 to 2019, where the focus was on specialty finance and BDC coverage. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin & Marshall College and additional studies at The London School of Economics and Political Science, alongside a background in men's lacrosse at Manhasset High School.
