Alexis Clark is a Research Manager at BDT and oversees a portfolio of projects while developing tools and procedures that support scalable research activities. Alexis also serves as a critical thought partner in implementing and maintaining BDT's research agenda.
Alexis has spent over a decade working in roles across the nonprofit sector. She began by teaching science in Philadelphia public schools, and after building community-based programs for K-12 children for several years, Alexis went to The Franklin Institute Science Museum in Philadelphia to manage strategic planning and research activities. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Alexis changed her trajectory to manage an internationally recognized epilepsy program at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Alexis has a B.A. and an M.S. in biology from Arcadia University and Saint Joseph’s University. She also received certificates in project management and nonprofit leadership from Cornell University and LaSalle University, respectively.
