Benefits Data Trust
LaKisha Bowman is the South Carolina Engagement Manager at Benefits Data Trust. She is responsible for working closely with state government agencies, community-based organizations, and non-profits streamlining access to public benefits for South Carolinians.
LaKisha has over 15 years nonprofit experience, developing and managing services and programs for children, and families. Prior to joining BDT, LaKisha worked with a Managed Care Organizations leading Social Drives of Health and health equity efforts. LaKisha also worked extensively with early childhood development research, policies, and designing home visitation programs.
LaKisha is originally from Rochester, N.Y. She moved to South Carolina to obtain her B.A. in social science from Allen University and obtained her M.A in counseling from Webster University, St. Louis.
