Hector Ruiz-Espinosa

Hector Ruiz-Espinosa has been a Professor and Associate Professor at Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla since June 2003, contributing significant expertise in the field of food science. Prior to this, Hector pursued a Ph.D. at Instituto Tecnológico de Veracruz from 2008 to 2011, focusing on high pressure homogenization and dairy products. Hector also has experience in the corporate sector, having worked as a Purchasing Specialist in Foodservice at Volkswagen de Mexico from August 1997 to August 1999. Educational qualifications include a B.S. in Food Engineering from UDLAP (1992-1997), a Master's in Science in Food Science from The Ohio State University (1999-2001), and specialized studies in dairy science and technology.
