Dr. Maria Pudenz

Dr. Maria Pudenz is an accomplished expert in Nutrition Science with extensive experience in both research and management. Currently serving as a key member of the Beneo Institute at BENEO since October 2016 and as Manager of Nutrition Science at the Südzucker Group since September 2016, Dr. Pudenz has a solid foundation in nutritional research. Previous positions include a role as a Researcher PhD Student at the German Cancer Research Center from May 2011 to October 2015 and as a Research Assistant at the German Institute of Human Nutrition from March 2009 to May 2011. Dr. Pudenz began the career with hands-on experience as a Research apprentice at The Rowett Institute and as a Student Research Assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology. Educationally, Dr. Pudenz holds a Diploma in Nutritional Sciences from Friedrich Schiller University Jena and a Doctorate in Biology from Heidelberg University.
