Denis Ricard has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. Denis began their career in 1983 with a conscription in the French Air Force. After completing their military service, they worked as a Sales Representative for Lanvin Parfums, where they promoted and sold products in duty-free shops and other tax-free zones. In 1987, they founded their own company, Eurosolaire, specializing in the treatment of glass surfaces. The company offered protective coatings and films primarily for shops, workshops, and factories.

In 1988, Denis joined Yamaha Marine France as a Field Sales Representative for outboard engines. Denis later held multiple roles within Yamaha Motor France, including Sales Administration Manager, Communication/Advertising/PR Manager for Marine and Power Products, and Head of Sales for the Scooters & Motorcycles Division. In 1997, they became the Sales & Marketing Director for the Marine Division, responsible for defining strategies, sales plans, and developing new business opportunities. Denis achieved significant market leadership during their tenure, with a 32% market share for outboard engines and a 48% market share for recreational vehicles. Denis also played an active role in the company's European product planning.

From 2006 to 2014, Denis worked at Zodiac Nautic as the Sales Director for the EMEA/APAC region. Denis managed commercial development and teams for three brands, including Zodiac, Bombard, and Avon. Denis also oversaw logistics, order processing, and production planning coordination with factories. Additionally, they acted as an Export Area Manager for Northern Europe since 2008.

In 2015, Denis became the Director of Cohesion International, a company specializing in change management, consulting, and skill development. Denis held this position until 2017, when they transitioned to work as a Consultant for the marine industry at DRD Consulting & Performance. In January 2021, they joined Beneteau as the EMEA Sales Director, responsible for sales strategy and development in the region.

Throughout their career, Denis has demonstrated a strong track record of leadership, sales management, strategic planning, and international business development in the marine industry.

Denis Ricard completed an Executive MBA in Business, Management, Marketing, Finance, and Corporate Social Responsibility from Rennes School of Business between 2015 and 2017. Additionally, they obtained a DUT in International Trade from IUT de Sceaux between 1979 and 1981.
