Mary Ann Mendez

Mary Ann Mendez is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in customer service, research, and leadership. Currently serving as the Customer Service Manager at Benetech, Mendez oversees the support for Bookshare, the largest library of ebooks for individuals with reading barriers. Mendez has held various leadership roles within the National Federation of the Blind, including Vice President and Board Member, where significant contributions were made in promoting employment strategies for blind and low vision members. Additional experience includes roles in event planning, project management, and research, with a strong focus on accessibility for blind and low vision participants. Mendez holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Communications from Jones International University.
