Andrea Piras

Andrea Piras has extensive work experience in various roles within management and operation in the fashion industry. Andrea is currently serving as the General Manager and CEO at Alpinestars since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Benetton Group as the COO and Senior VP of Product Development and Operations from 2018 onwards. Andrea also held the position of General Manager and COO of Retail Operations at PittaRosso from 2016 to 2018 and the role of COO at Liu Jo S.p.A in 2015. Andrea Piras has also worked as the Senior VP of Product Development and Strategic Sourcing Director at Benetton Group from 2007 to 2015. Before that, they served as the COO at Diadora and Global Quality Assurance Director at Fila. Andrea began their career as a Product Innovation Manager at Benetton Group and later worked as a Category Manager and Project Leader at BSS - Benetton Sport System. Andrea Piras started their professional journey as a Project Manager Jr at Gruppo Danieli.

Andrea Piras graduated with a Master's degree in Business Administration from MIP Politecnico di Milano in 1994. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Space & Aeronautical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, with studies between 1984 and 1990.
