Andrea Vincenzo Virgilio

Andrea Vincenzo Virgilio has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Andrea Vincenzo started their career at Fiat Group, where they worked as a Quality Materials Manager and later as a Quality Control Pillar Leader and Quality Manager for model deployment. Andrea Vincenzo then joined Guala Closures Group, where they served as a Plant Quality Manager and later as a Plant Manager.

After that, they worked at Luxottica as a Plant Manufacturing Manager, overseeing the production of lenses and implementing lean principles. Andrea Vincenzo also worked as the Asia Sun Lenses and RX Lab Plant Director, where they managed two plants and implemented organization change projects. Andrea Vincenzo went on to become the EMEA RX Plant Director, responsible for the startup of a new plant in the EMEA region.

Following their tenure at Luxottica, Virgilio joined Lavazza Group as the Manufacturing - Cost Engineering and Technical Service Director for Coffee Machines, where they managed production sites and implemented cost engineering strategies to reduce technical and product costs.

Currently, they are working at Benetton Group as the Head of Global Quality & Lean Manufacturing System.

Andrea Vincenzo Virgilio earned a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, specializing in the "Telecommunication Area," from the Università degli Studi di Palermo between 1999 and 2006.
