Hyla Lapointe

Hyla LaPointe has a diverse work experience spanning various industries.

Starting in 2008, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Canadian Red Cross for a brief period. In 2010, they interned as a Public Policy Intern at the Government of New Brunswick.

Hyla then joined Canadian Pacific Railway in 2011 as an Internal Audit Intern, where they gained experience in forensic audit support. Hyla cross-trained in operational and financial internal auditing during their time there.

In 2012, Hyla became an Internal Auditor at Canadian Pacific Railway, focusing on operational and forensic audits. Hyla audited vendor and customer contract compliance, regulatory compliance, and conducted analyses on various policies and processes.
