As BenevolentAI’s Vice President of Engineering, Constantinos Neophytou leads our core software engineering function, aiming to improve the maturity and scalability of our software solutions for AI and informatics, and working across the Company to build products that best support drug discovery. He leads BenevolentAI’s Apps, User Experience, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Security, and IT teams, focusing on promoting a metrics-driven approach to engineering that guides systems design and product development, and on delivering meaningful end-user improvements.

Constantinos is a computer scientist with over 15 years of software engineering experience. After receiving a BA in Computer Science from Dartmouth College, he spent a year in India developing an education-centric social network. Constantinos then worked at Bloomberg and Morgan Stanley in London and subsequently joined Google working as a Site Reliability Engineer and Manager for eight years, focusing on reliable software design, large-scale data processing, and data pipeline infrastructure technologies before joining BenevolentAI.
